Hypoxia

A research claimed that 90% of the eyes disease are the result of the above scientific word, which was a jargon to me until I met up with a sales guy.

Hypoxia means lack of oxygen. The brochure stated, when oxygen and water supply to the eye ball is low, eye-related diseases such as astigmatism, glaucoma, cataracts, dry-eye, etc, began to develop.

I tried it on and and of course I could see clearly through the pin hole.

So, he sold me this spec for RM120 (USD 40), which I am suppose to wear for 20 minutes each day.Its called Nano IonSpec .

Miss Nano, you better provide my eyes with enough oxygen..!!

Remember I told you that I did  eye-lasik? That cured my  near sightedness. but now, my astigmatism and long sightedness is coming uninvited.

This is the 2nd day I'm wearing this spec. Let see how it goes in 5 months time.

Love letters from my children

She was only 5 years old when Nadia used to write me a letter, while I was away. She would put the letter on my pillow the night before I go on my travelling.

It touches my heart, reading her letter. There is a deep meaning in there. My poor children. They grew up most of the time without me next to them when they woke up in the morning.

Reading her letter make me laugh. They make my day, indeed.

What a lovely handmade card.

At the time Im working on this posting, Nadia is now reaching her 20th birthday and attending his first year in the local university. Thank you for making me proud of you, always, my girl.

Next, letter from Adri,  my only boy, who doesn't really display his affection much.

During Mother’s Day somewhere in the year 2001 ( I think), he proudly presented this card to me. He did the card along with all other kids in his Kindergarten.

I still have them all. I will read them once a while whenever I come across them. They put a smiley face on me.

Adri is now in his 3rd year of high school. He doesn't talk much, but very active in sports. Thank you too for making me proud of you, always, my boy.

Formula One is back to Malaysia. Its going to be fun, we thought. We all in the family were talking about this game since yesterday, during the qualifying. Although he is no longer the ‘man of the race’, my pray was still for Michael Schumaker to take the lead.

We were excited waiting for the big event. Snacks, ice-cream and drinks were bought and ready to be served, a night before.

It was Sunday Morning and was still many hours to go before the event.

Ahah..!!! Go-Kart.!! Lets Go-Karting..!!

True enuff, an hour later Adri was already on the go…..

My kids were really enjoying their day.

ok, its time to go home to watch the real event, the great Formula One.

About 1 hour before the race, my hubby and I decided to send the kids home and we both went to buy small fish to feed our beloved tortoise.

next….

On the way home………

WAIT..!!!!  Pull over..pull over…

Poor boy.. he was crying by the main road. We made a U-Turn and approached him.

He was about 7 years old. He said his dad didnt turn up to school. We took him into the car .

Fortunately he recognizes the way to his house.

My hubby drove following the direction he pointed at.

DSC02768

We reached an apartment. He seemed to know where to go.  He went into the elevator. I followed him to make sure he is safe.

DSC02771DSC02772

He peeped thru the door, and looked up to me.

“where is my mama.?” He asked me.

eerr…do you have her number? I asked.

Yes,  0.1.3….. ..

I called the number and true..!! that was his panicked mom, almost crying on the phone. She and her hubby was searching for him at school.

“Please wait til I come. Please dont leave him alone” She begged

“ok..ok.. I’ll wait”, I assured.

10 minutes later his dad arrived, next his mom arrived in a different car.

“hmmm…they are quite well to do family.’ I thought to myself.

They both thanked us and I could see a relief on their expression. His dad told us that he was late picking him up from his Taekwando class. Poor boy.

BIG SMILEY…. appeared from us too.

Happy ending………     but Michael Schumaker didnt win the F1.
