Reluctantly, I had to go back inside the house. It was almost midnight. Specky was then still very sick. He was in a state of coma. As and when I thought that was the end of his life, he gasped for air. I spent a couple of hours caressing him. I wanted little Specky to know that he was being loved.
I placed him in a big basin, covered him, and I got in leaving him outside with his mother and his 3 siblings. I prayed that he would recover overnight and would be walking again on the next morning.
Good nite tiny tot.
I went to bed thinking hard of what possibly could have happened that day, while I was at work. Perhaps my maid accidentally stepped on my little Specky. Oh God..please no….
On the next day, first thing in the morning, I rushed down to check on him.
SHOCKED…!!!!!
I saw only half of Specky. Something ate his upper torso. The same tragic incident happened to my Tompok. I wrote about it in my previous few posting.
Does stray cat eat their sickly young? but why…?
