I went out to work today. This time, I went out of the house at dawn and not driving toward my office, like yesterday and the day before.
Today, my working place was too far to be reached by car within 20 minutes. Today, I had to drive to the airport and lined up to checkin, and board the airplane.
I flew to another state, called Kuala Terengganu. After about 55 minutes in the air, I landed safely and got myself a car rental. After a few trips,I somewhat managed to maneuver my way to the place I was heading.
It was a pleasant drive passing along the village and bridges, enjoying the ocean view to my left and right. Less congested, unlike in Kuala Lumpur, where I live.
The state is very peaceful and the people are nice.
The host greeted me as in my previous visits. Great hospitalities they portrayed. Also as in my previous visits, they served ‘Nasi Dagang’, a special rice and fish dish, which I wouldnt leave the state without eating this.
After a short discussion, I headed back to the airport. Hoping to get an earlier flight, but to no avail. The 4pm flight was fully booked.
I was tired and need a rest. So, I checked myself in to the nearest Inn.
Dara Inn. Very simple resort, that provides basic necessities, except toilet rolls. In fact, I noticed, that toilet roll is not part of basic toiletries in the public toilets, in Terengganu. If you couldn't live without it, you should bring one with you, if you ever go there. It comes in handy, just-in-case.
At the resort room, I had a chance to rest my eyes for a while, checked email and stuff. The 5 hours usage costs me RM70 (USD24). Not a bad deal. Its a convenient place to rest. Its located just around the corner from the airport.
At last, I boarded the plane at 9pm and reached my house at 11pm. Feels like been to my office and back as in my daily routine.
