Everyday I’ve been telling myself..
“I will go tomorrow”
I’ve been telling that for about 90 days now, but it didn't happen. I took the calculator RM120 x 4 =RM420, the amount I just flushed RM420 (USD140) down the drain.
I could have purchase huge amount of toiletries for the orphans.
I could have transferred the amount as ‘Zakat’ (Zuh-cut), a collection considered to be religious duty to all Muslims, to be contributed to those who cannot meet their basic needs. Zakat is a practice initiated by The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him). I could have gain an extra point from God by doing that.
For that amount, I could have afford more than 30 kg of rice to feed more than 400 people.
Ok..ok…enuff of making me feel guilty.
I weighed my self. oops..! I gotten all my fats back to the previous number (before gym going). I sat back recalling the amount I consumed. I’m talking about …..
‘Lemang’, ‘Rendang’, cookies, ‘Satay’, ‘ketupat’,’chicken curry’ and…and…and….
OMG..!!!!! within 4 months???
Today, I reluctantly stopped by the place.
“Hey..!! Where have you been..??”
“Hello, long time no see”
“Hi..!! Its been a while!!”
Those friendly trainer greeted me as I reached the gym that cost me RM120 a month. I sweat for 20 minutes. That's it. Not more. My trainer said it wasn't good enough, but NOPE..!! I'm done for today.
I pray that I will be back there tomorrow , or on the day after, or after, or after…..
