Middle age crisis?

Today, I woke up in the morning spoiling the mood of everyone in the house, on something that I could not find. I screamed and banged on the table out of frustration. Then a few second later, I had my eyes on the thing I was looking for. I felt guilty but pretended not. In the next few minutes situation were back to normal as it nothing happened.

I'm now between the age of 40-60 and having some form of emotional transition. That matches the age of group identified to experience middle age crisis according to psychologist Carl Jung.

Oh no.. will I venture into unhappiness of life later? Will I get into depression and boredom? The most worrying part… will I desire for a new and passionate, intimate relationship, as said?. It was  identified that a divorce would normally happen around the middle age crisis.

Perhaps I'm currently at the so-called stage. If so, then I should thank God that I’ve overcame them with the activities I am in, such as working out at the gym, gathering with friends and relatives, playing pool, catching up with old friends, then the most recent activity, playing badminton, with close relatives. Another thing I’ve been thinking to do is to ride a big bike, which my hubby could not say ‘yes’ to.

How to deal with a spouse that experiencing middle age crisis?

Among others, Carl Jung said, make changes that you think will make you a better person. (hmmm… AGREE, Mr. Jung.)

He also suggested, instead of focusing on your transformed wife, take that vacation you’ve wanted to take for years.

WHAT.??? No way Mr. Jung, he is not having vacation without me..!!

Hi Faida,
Just now had a chance to read about life across the street back home. You and Zul are such a good "team". Don't let anything happen to break it up! I am very thankful to marry my long-time friend even in old age. Lu has a lot of wedding pictures on facebook.
Your neighbor, Rick
