Face-to-Facebook vs face-to-face

My hubby had to work late. I had to do some errands, including fetching Nadia from the train station, Sentral. Its school holiday for both my kids.

“I will have a company throughout the Chinese New Year holiday “I thought to myself on the way from the station.

We reached home and had our dinner together. Too bad my hubby had to miss the moment.

Next, after dinner. Silence…..

I looked around. My Son Adri was busy chatting with his Facebook friends.

So was Nadia. What is this? What is happening to the family? to the world? Doesnt face-to-face talk important any longer?

And look who is talking…….

“Throughout the holiday, starting from this coming Thursday up to the weekend, I will try my best to spend time with my family. I will think of activities that would keep us together”. I promised to myself.

Don't let Face-to-facebook  takes over face-to-face moments.

betul juga, terfikir juga kerana pengalaman yang sama selalu kita lalui terutama dengan kawan-kawan dan ada kalahnya dengan anak yang cuma bersebelah bilik
