An artist friend of mine sent me text message, informing that he would be at the gallery, yesterday. Since I happened to be around the neighborhood, I decided to make a quick stop, base on ‘See you when I see you’
To my perception the building didn't look appealing, as if it was not well maintained.
As I walked in, the interior was somehow the opposite of my expectation. Its neat , cool and well kept.
Also in this building, where movie writers exhibits their master piece, along with other local artists.
I took a chance to give myself a quick tour around the art gallery, which I’ve never been to although I’ve passed the building hundreds of times.
I started with appreciating master pieces of an artist who was then working on his paintings, at the entrance of the building.
Nice works!! but I didn't have a chance to get to know him in person, as he was busy entertaining his other fans.
I forgot to check on his name too…shark..!!
I also noticed a store selling arts materials. I bought myself a canvas, sold by yard measurement. Now I know where to get things that I need. I do painting when my mood comes, which is once in a blue moon.
Next, I entered the gallery. Wow!. What an amazing masterpiece.
I wonder why the place is not one of the favorite place for public.Adding to my question mark, I don't see much publicity about it.
Time to GO..!
“Good to see you again, Sir.”
I bumped unto the artist friend that I was hoping to meet there, Shamsul Bahari, as I ended my tour and got to rush home. Too bad, it wasn't a right time for both of us to have a longer chat.
I had another tour to go on that day, The Stadium Bukit Jalil. Soccer match was about to happen.
See you again..!
